How It Works
SONGS
All songs posted are hosted on 3rd party sites. From these sites you can download the songs by right clicking and selecting “Save Target As” or just look for a ‘Download’ button.
Songs are downloaded in mp3 format.
I use Soundcloud.com to embed flash players that enable users to listen to the song before downloading. You can also further embed the player on your site and even download the song with the menu options on the right of the soundcloud player.
VIDEOS
Videos are usually posted in HD for best quality. At the current moment I cannot post video for download but this option may be available from 3rd party site.
SPOTLIGHT YOUR MUSIC
If you are an up and coming artist and have music that you would like to spotlight on the site, please use the Soundcloud drop box at the Top right of site (OR THIS LINK: http://soundcloud.com/mikeyboom/dropbox). Along with song upload, please send full bio, tour dates, and contact info to MikeyBoom.com. I will contact you when spotlight content is ready or if I need any addition info.
RATINGS
Please rate songs from 1-10 using the stars at the bottom of the posts. 1 is the lowest rating, 10 is the highest. You do not need to be a registered user to vote.
PICTURES
Pictures of artists are hosted on 3rd party sites. If you would like me to show your picture on an original mix of yours please send to MikeyBoom@gmail.com
